FADER

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

Fader, operated by Wundervault (“Fader,” “we,” “us”) runs an options-screening research tool at fader.wundervault.com. This policy explains, plainly, what we collect, why, and your choices. We collect as little as we can to run the service.

What we collect

  • Your email address — only if you create an account (passwordless sign-in) or subscribe to alerts. We use it to send your sign-in links and any alerts you opt into.
  • Trades you choose to track — the ticker, side, strike, expiry, credit, and any notes you enter into your watchlist. This is data you create; we store it so you can see it across devices.
  • Questions you ask the assistant (“Forum”) — we log the question text and the answer to understand what people ask and to improve the product. Tied to your account id when signed in, not to your name.
  • Basic technical logs — IP address, timestamps, and request info, kept short-term for security and abuse prevention (e.g. blocking bots and rate-limiting).

We do not ask for, want, or store brokerage credentials, payment details, or government identifiers. Fader never connects to your broker.

How we use it

  • To provide the service (sign you in, save your watchlist, answer your questions).
  • To send only the emails you opt into; every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
  • To improve Fader (e.g. seeing which questions go unanswered).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Service providers we rely on

  • Cloudflare — security, content delivery, and the “Turnstile” anti-bot check on our sign-up forms.
  • Resend — to deliver our emails (sign-in links and alerts).
  • MiniMax — the language model behind the Forum assistant. When you ask a question, the question text and the relevant Fader data are sent to generate the answer.
  • Public market-data sources (e.g. Yahoo Finance, Barchart, Google News) provide the prices, implied volatility, and headlines Fader displays. We send them no personal data.

Cookies

We use a single, essential session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Retention & your choices

  • We keep account data while your account is active. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and data by emailing privacy@wundervault.com.
  • Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security.

Security

Sign-in is passwordless (we never store a password). Data is held on our servers with access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children

Fader is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Not financial advice

Fader is for research and educational purposes only and is not financial advice. See our Terms of Use.

Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, do our best to notify subscribers.
